Dr Katherine Rowe is a consultant in Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia working at a district general hospital in Suffolk following her move from Broomfield hospital in Essex in 2019. During her training she held junior doctor positions in West Yorkshire, East Anglia and completed the prestigious critical care fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Medical Institute in Baltimore USA.
She is passionate about patient safety and believes that collaborative working amongst individuals with differing skills is pivotal to improving quality outcomes. During her time as a consultant she has held several leadership positions including the lead of the hospitals deteriorating patient group, the clinical lead for organ donation and associate medical director.
