Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group recently ran a consultation for a future model of their Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services.
Local residents were invited to give feedback on our aim to provide a single service under one contract. Currently Non-Emergency Patient Transport Services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough are delivered by many providers, on different contracts, and with different service goals.
We believe a single service will improve access and equality of treatment for patients across the area. This new service will include patient transport and a call centre to take bookings – available to NHS staff as well as patients.
The consultation ran from 27 August 2015 to 19 November 2015 and the end of consultation report can be downloaded on the right.
