Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Palliative and End of Life Care Strategy

Cambridgeshire and & Peterborough ICS Logo

The Cambridgeshire & Peterborough ICS is developing a new Palliative and End of Life Care co-produced strategy for all ages (children and adults). It will reflect the experiences of individuals, carers, and families, and include their views, as well as those who deliver care. This includes the NHS, hospices, local authorities and third sector bodies.

Current services are delivered by a range of people across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough in a variety of settings. These cover patients own home (including care homes), our acute hospitals, community services, GP/Primary Care, hospices, the voluntary sector and social care.

In the development of our strategy, we are mindful that we do have limits on resources currently available to us. We want to make sure we use these resources in the best way we can.

We are delighted that Claire Henry is leading this work and bringing the strategy to life for our system. She is a very experienced palliative care and end of life care practitioner and has led a number of national projects.

We want to make sure that your views, experiences and observations of palliative and end of life care are reflected in the strategy during its development. We have set out four questions in the survey below and welcome any further comments and observations. All information that we receive will be treated in confidence and anonymised.

Thank you for taking time to complete our survey.

The survey will close on Friday 25 March.
