Be prepared – order repeat prescriptions today
Remember to get repeat prescriptions orders in to ensure you have the right medicines to see you through the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Ordering and collecting new prescriptions can take several days. So, if you or someone you care for requires medicines regularly, please make sure you order and collect repeat prescriptions in good time to ensure you or your family have enough medicine to last over the Easter weekend.
And don’t forget to stock up on essential medicines so you can treat minor illnesses and injuries at home such as pain relief (paracetamol), cough and cold remedies and upset stomach treatment.
Visit
www.nhs.uk for further advice on general health and wellbeing.
Where to get medical help over the Easter weekend
There's a wide range of NHS services on offer over the Easter bank holiday weekend including NHS 111, pharmacies and local Minor Injury Units. Find out what is available locally HERE.
*** Alternatively you can download full details of services available from the ‘related documents’ section on this page and use this on your website. Please remember to add in your practice opening times over the Easter bank holiday (highlighted in yellow). Images to support this are also available to download.***
