May 2019 bank holiday communications toolkit

With two bank holidays in May, this toolkit provides resources to help raise awareness of alternative services available.  To make it as easy as possible, most of this you can just copy and paste and use it without editing it.

Resources/Materials  

The CCG has developed a series of resources that GP Practices can use to help raise awareness. These include:

Videos – for digital screens, websites and social media

A selection of short videos and images are available for you to download from the ‘related documents’ section on this page.  You can use these on your website, social media or within your practice. Please contact the CCG comms team if you would like advice on uploading this.

Website resources – to upload to practice websites

Practices are encouraged to update their website with patient information about current campaigns.  You can use the following copy/text on your website.  A series of images than can be used are available to download from the ‘related documents’ section on this page.

Where to get medical help over the May bank holiday weekends

There are a wide range of NHS services available over the May bank holiday weekends. From your local pharmacy, minor injury units to NHS 111, which is available 24/7, 365 days a year.

If you need medical help that isn't an emergency or life-threatening, you can find out what is available locally HERE
