Dear colleagues

We are inviting nominations from GPs who are interested in standing for election to our Governing Body. Standing for election enables you to become more involved in commissioning local NHS services.

  • There are two GP posts up for election to our CCG Governing Body.
  • The period of tenure will be for three years (to 2020).

All GPs (locums, salaried and partners) working in the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group area and on the performers’ list are eligible to stand for nomination in the elections. We would like to see the Governing Body represent the diverse nature of the population and our geographical area.

The nominations and subsequent elections will be administered independently by the Cambridgeshire LMC. Interested parties should complete the attached nomination form and return it to the LMC at admin@cambslmc.org by 5pm on Friday 31 March 2017.

If you have any queries on the nomination or election process please contact Sharon Fox, CCG Secretary, by telephone on 07506 867495 or by email on sharon.fox3@nhs.net.
