Reminder: East of England Primary Care Leadership Collaboratives programme - apply by 18 Dec!
Health Education England
The NHS Leadership Academy has launched its Primary Care Leadership Collaboratives. Details are enclosed on the attached flyer and application form. Please note: the training is funded by HEE, but there is no backfill funding available. The programme involves four contact days in addition to local networking in project groups and will run between January and May 2018.
Health Education England are looking for up to three collaboratives from the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough STP area. Each collaborative has three members, likely to be a practice manager, practice nurse and GP/GDP but potentially including other senior colleagues in practices or federations.
Working as a group of three from your practice, federation or CCG within your local strategic transformation plan (STP) footprint, this funded course will empower you to enable innovation and service transformation. In addition to leadership development sessions with a mix of group work and input from senior colleagues from the NHS and universities, participants will be able to access individual coaching and other resources through the East of England Leadership Academy and the Eastern Academic Health Science Network (AHSN).
We anticipate each collaborative will already be working together to improve health and health outcomes for communities, perhaps through the delivery of new models of integrated care. Our goal is to enable improvement and innovation across STPs through the collaborative, sharing a common purpose and vision of primary care and future outcomes for communities.
Please note: If you are accepted on to the course, but are then unable to attend your Practice will be responsible for the cancellation fee.
Applications must be received by 10am on Monday 18th December. Please send programme queries and applications to leadership.eoe@hee.nhs.uk. You can also watch the promotional video from 2016/17.
