Extraordinary Members Event - Antimicrobial Resistance

Antimicrobial Resistance is a National and Worldwide threat and high priority within the CCG.  We have secured the National Project Lead for antimicrobial resistance for the event along with a Consultant Medical Microbiologist to deliver a session to support appropriate antimicrobial prescribing within the CCG.

  • Elizabeth Beech
NHS Improvement National Lead: Health Care Acquired Infections and Antimicrobial Resistance.

  • Dr Nick Brown
    Consultant Medical Microbiologist CUHFT.

The event supports the Quality and Engagement Framework Medicines Objective and will contribute towards the system wide strategy to reduce inappropriate antibiotic prescribing.

Please ensure a clinician from your practice attends.
