LOOK OUT FOR: 'Help Us Help You' winter campaign resource pack

The national ‘Help Us Help You’ campaign will launch on Monday 21 October.  As part of this all GP practices will shortly receive a pack that will include resources such as posters and promotional materials for the ‘Help Us Help You’, GP access, Flu and Keep Antibiotics Working campaigns.

Further resources are also available to download from the PHE Campaign Resource centre online HERE.  Please note you will need to set up an account to enable access to the full range of resources.   A winter communications toolkit will also shortly be available on the CCG Health Professionals website and we will update you once this is available.

Please complete our domestic violence training awareness survey

Domestic abuse has once again been high on the news agenda, including a recent domestic homicide review that was published in Cambridgeshire in September, which involved the tragic murder of a lady by her husband. The victim had had a number of contacts with Primary Care. One of the recommendations of the review was to reach out to our Primary Care colleagues to enable a baseline of understanding. We would therefore encourage all practice staff to complete this simple survey: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/QTZW8S2

We know that it can sometimes be difficult to recognise signs of potential domestic abuse, and to know how to appropriately signpost people to the right support. Updated training is available online here: https://www.cambsdasv.org.uk/website/training_1/86050 and key contacts can be found here: https://www.cambsdasv.org.uk/website/key_contacts/86057
