After our successful revised National  Framework NHS Continuing Healthcare and NHS-funded Nursing Care training which ran from September 2018, we would now like to offer shorter, follow up sessions which will allow practitioners to consolidate on their learning so far, and gain a better understanding of the NHS Continuing Healthcare process. Whether you have just started a new role or are an experienced practitioner within your field, all are welcome.

Training will include: the revised Checklist, Decision Support Tool, Fast Track Pathway Tool and legal requirements including the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS).

All practitioners (including from acute trusts, district nurses, social care) who are responsible for completing assessments or making referrals to the Continuing Healthcare Team should book onto one of the training sessions.
