Healthy Peterborough

Healthier You diabetes

If you are found to be at high risk of developing Type 2 diabetes you may be eligible for your local Healthier You service, which will provide valuable support to help you put your health back in your hands and reduce your risk of, or even stop you, developing Type 2 diabetes.

Latent TB screening

At least 350 patients have already undergone a simple check to find out whether they might be at risk of developing active TB, thanks to a successful local screening programme that has now been running for almost a year.

Health chiefs in Cambridgeshire have revealed they spend £1.5million on prescribing pain relief medication for patients, who could have bought painkillers from pharmacies or supermarkets.
