Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG’s Draft Annual Report and Accounts To Be Presented

Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is meeting on 10 June to present its draft Annual Report and Accounts for 2020-21.

The CCG’s Governing Body will be holding its meeting online at 5pm on Thursday 10 June 2021. The draft Annual Report and Accounts 2020-21 will be reviewed at the meeting. Members of the public can watch the meeting by clicking on the link at the meeting start time: https://bit.ly/3papImG

The year 2020-21 has been a busy year for the whole of the NHS and the draft CCG Annual Report reflects this.

Reflecting on the past year, Dr Gary Howsam, Chair of Cambridgeshire and Peterborough CCG said,

“Responding to COVID-19 has brought the NHS together, with all organisations playing a critical part in responding to the pandemic. We are so proud of the way every single staff member and every health and social care organisation in our area has worked together to care for patients during the pandemic and we would like to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone.

“NHS staff have worked tirelessly to care for patients over the last year, and are continuing to work hard on delivering the country’s biggest vaccination programme as well as recovering waiting times for planned care services. We still have an enormous journey ahead of us and I’d like to thank all our staff, partners and stakeholders who have supported the pandemic response.”

The CCG Governing Body will review the draft Annual Report and Accounts on 10 June, the final report will then be formally presented at the CCG’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) later in the year.
