New provider of GP services at Cottenham Surgery

Greater Peterborough Network (GPN) and Cambs GP Network are pleased to provide GP practice services at Cottenham Surgery from Monday 1 November 2021.

Greater Peterborough Network (GPN) and Cambs GP Network are established local GP Federations, which are organisations that are not for profit, but are there to support local practices and their patients. They currently provide a range of NHS services across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough, with a proven track record of delivering high quality, responsive care that meets the needs of their patients.

Led by GPs, they deliver a range of services across Cambridgeshire including GP hubs (that provide evening and weekend GP access seven days a week), home visiting services, training and educational programmes and COVID-19 vaccination services.

Mustafa Malik, GPN Chief Executive Officer, said “We are really looking forward to meeting the patients of Cottenham Surgery, providing you with quality and safe services locally.

“We would like to reassure all patients that this change in provider will not affect delivery of healthcare services. Patients should continue to contact the practice as normal and attend any appointments or clinics they have already booked in.

“We are committed to improving the health and wellbeing of the local community and will be working alongside the practice staff, our patients and the wider community to ensure that the services we provide deliver the best health outcomes for our patients.”
