NHS funded IVF Treatment reinstated in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough

IVF treatment has been officially reinstated from Wednesday 4 August following approval of the Clinical Policy by Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group’s Governing Body on Tuesday 3 August 2021.

Local people will now be able to access one cycle of NHS funded IVF, which will offer up to three opportunities to fall pregnant. Eligible couples who have had up to two cycles of privately funded IVF will also be eligible for one cycle of NHS funded IVF. The full eligibility criteria can be found in the update Clinical Policy here (under Fertility Services tab).

Anyone wishing to seek specialist fertility support should speak to their local GP in the first instance.
