More than 1.9 million doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have already been delivered across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough. The local NHS is offering walk-in clinics every day this week to encourage even more people in local communities to come forward for their vaccination.
Sites offering walk-in vaccines include the Guildhall in Cambridge, Wansford Pharmacy in Wansford, and Hampton medical Centre and Nightingale Medical Centre in Peterborough.
Large scale vaccination sites run by Cambridgeshire Community Services (CCS) NHS Trust are also continuing to offer their daily walk-in clinics, including through some evening sessions, at the Grafton Centre in Cambridge, Horsefair Shopping Centre in Wisbech, The Oak Tree Centre in Huntingdon, Queensgate Shopping Centre in Peterborough and Eatans Community Centre, St Neots.
Patients can attend a walk-in site to get their first, second, third primary or booster dose. Many clinics are open to anyone aged 16 or over, with some opportunities for children aged 12-15 to get their first or second dose.
Finding a walk-in clinic is easy – just visit www.thevaccinators.co.uk or our walk-in clinic page on this website to find a venue near you.
Patients who would prefer to get a date in the diary can still choose to book their vaccination via www.nhs.uk/covidvaccine or by calling 119.
