An independent investigation into the care and treatment of a mental health service user (Tom) in Cambridgeshire

Findings are published today (Tuesday 5 March) of an independent investigation into the circumstances surrounding the care and treatment of Tom.

Carol Anderson, Chief Nurse, Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Clinical Commissioning Group said: "We would like to express our sympathy for all those involved in this tragic incident. We have taken on board the findings from the report and are working closely with our providers and GPs to oversee that the recommendations are implemented so that we can ensure high quality and accessible mental health services for all our patients.”
