Waterbeach Surgery reopens

Statement on Waterbeach Surgery

“Following a CQC inspection, Waterbeach Surgery has continued to be been closed today. However, we are pleased to report that it will reopen with a focus on urgent appointments tomorrow, Friday 15 November and will reopen fully on Monday 18 November. We would like to apologise for the inconvenience to patients.

“Until then, if you feel unwell please contact NHS 111 in the first instance, who have put in additional support to be able to deal with queries. For patients who are due to collect a requested prescription they are still able to collect medication from Waterbeach Pharmacy as usual and the practice will be able to issue new prescriptions from tomorrow, Friday 15 November. Please contact the surgery from Friday if you need any further information on 01223 860 387.

“The closure of a practice like this at short notice is very rare and we have worked hard with other GP providers to put in place cover arrangements as soon as we were able.”
